Smoke Hollow Farm was bought by Mrs. Weston in August, 1995. It was a dairy farm before she purchased it. The dairy farm was originally owned by Lloyd Laroo. The farm is named Smoke Hollow because in the morning you can see steam rising from the lake.

The main house is very historic and was built around 1840.

The farm features thirty American Saddlebred horses, an Arabian, and a a Shetland pony. There also are 10 chickens, 2 dogs, and some foals. The Westons sometimes breed their mares. Riding lessons are available at Smoke Hollow Farm.

A very important part of the farm is taking care of the horses.

They are housed in a barn that was built in 1996.

A blacksmith replaces the old horseshoes with new ones. Special nails are used to hold the shoes in place. It takes about one hour to shoe a horse.

The most famous horse at the farm is
Blue Chipper. He was a World Champion four times. Blue Chipper may be the biggest American Saddlebred horse in the country. He is 17.1 hands tall and 1500 pounds.
