A House on Croton Road

The most historic place to me is my good old house. My house is on Croton Road in Franklin Township. It was built around 1740 and added on in 1864. Our house in 1740 was used as a residential house and still is today. The cellings are 6 feet 8 inches and the doorways are 6 feet height. That is unusual! I chose my house for this story because I think that it is interesting that my house was built in 1740.

Croton Road

I think the most historic place in Franklin is my house. It was built around 1830's. It was built on Croton Road and around the 1890's was moved by donkeys down to Quakertown Road. Then in the 1920's it was burnt down on one side of the house and was rebuilt. I picked my house because it has many facts, and I live in it.
