My Favorite Historical Attraction I think that Perricones is one of the most historical places in Franklin Township. It is located on Pittstown road. It was a market and post office. The store was established in 1867 by Sylvester Probasco. What is now Perricones ice cream parlor was the Pittstown post office up untill1964. I think it has good Ice Cream. Dalrymple's market was in business from 1892 until 1979. It was mostly a grocery store, with a gasoline pump out front. It had a butcher shop in back. If you brought in a deer they would butcher it for you. After that the Dalrymple family sold the store to Kuchman family and they ran the store for the next 10 years. Then the Skillman family ran the store for the next few years until the Perricones bought it. Perricones is now a pizza parlor. I love to go to Perricones for pizza. It's a very nice place to go.
