I think the former most historic site is the Quakertown Academy. It was constructed and demolished on the same site as Little Red School is on. It was built in 1850 by the Franklin Educational Association. The Quakertown School occupied the 1st floor and the 2nd floor was rented to Lackonton Lodge number, 144 I.O.O.F. The grades were probably from 1st to 8th. The Quakertown Academy was known as The Academy. The Quakertown Academy never succeeded and then the Quakertown School then occupied the first floor.
