OUR PROJECT IDEA

We have sponsored a project in the area of "Interesting Places To Visit." Our goal was for students to write about places people would find interesting to visit in their geographic area. We asked students to write a short piece or paragraph. Here were the guidlenlines for the project:

1. Write a paragraph about an interesting site that people would find interesting to visit. This site should be in your city, county, territory, region, state, or country.

2. As part of your paragraph include geographic references and descriptions.

3. Describe where your site is located and tell what is interesting and unique about it.

4. It would be great if you could choose places that are very unique to the region where you live.
