The Country I Admire The Most

I admire Greece because their believes. About gods and e mortals and myths. My favorite god is Apollo the god of the sun and music I also like Triton the god of the sea. Greece has chariot races and gladiator fights.

Italy

The country I admire most is Italy. I would like to visit Italy. My mom’s
family is from Italy. I want to visit Italy because my grandma and grandpa
went to Italy in August and said it was very beautiful. Italy is a country
that is shaped like a boot. Some people call it “the boot country”.

Food is another attraction to Italy. I love pizza. I also like any type of
pasta. One of my favorite dishes is broccoli and macaroni. I like
volcanoes. Santa Lucia, the town my great-grandfather is from, is near Mt.
Etna one of the volcanoes of Italy. It must be neat to live that close to
an active volcano. In Italy, you can go skiing in the mountains, fishing
and swimming in the ocean or Mediterranean Sea, and hiking around the
volcanoes. On the highways you can drive at speeds of 100 miles per hour or higher. I think it would be fun to drive in Italy.

There are many famous people who came from Italy. The first person that sited Jupiter with a telescope was from Italy. Other famous people are Marco Polo, Giovanni Verranzano, Michelangelo, and St. Patrick, The Pope lives in Vatican City, which is the smallest country in the world. It is just outside of Rome, Italy and there are many museums, cathedrals and statues in this area. Some day I would like to study Italian, and go visit Italy and talk with the people

Ireland

The country I most admire other then the United States is Ireland because a lot of my family lives there. Ireland has a beautiful countryside and a lot of wide-open land. If I don’t live in America when I grow up I'd like to live in Ireland.

Egypt

The country I most admire, other then mine is Egypt. I would love to go there some day. It all started when Mr. Kramer went there. He told us all about it. That you can go inside the Great Pyramids. There is so much history about Egypt. I think these things are so cool about Egypt, Pharaohs, Pyramids, the gods they believe in and there handwriting. I love mummies! Maybe some day I could go there and learn about there culture.

I admire Egypt because it has the Sierra Desert. Egypt has a lot of monuments like pyramids. The Great Sphinx is in Egypt. Egypt is in Africa. Egypt is very interesting, I wish I knew more.

The other country that I like besides my own is England. England is my favorite country because it is so fun there. Also England has some old building that are very cool. England does not have a president. It has a Queen and King.
I lived in England for four years. When I moved back to America I had an English accent. People liked it. I don’t really like the accent. It is weird. England is very cool, but the weather isn’t the best. This is why I like England so much.

Great Britain

I admire Great Britain because of the RAF’s amazing victories in WW2 against the Nazis. The superior Spitfire was their main airplane. When Germany was bombing London the RAF made an amazing recovery and engaged the Nazis above the roof tops of London. The Londoner’s kept score of how many Germans and British were shot down. Despite all odds Great Britain stayed alive during the Battle of Britain and was not conquered by Germany.
