At home I have a hermit crab. He is 4 years old. Some hermit crabs live up to 45 years old! I like my pet very much because he is different and was born far away. He lives in a one foot long glass cage and his bedding is small stones. He eats almost anything people eat except for meat. He does eat candy! To make his cage moist enough for him to live in it I wet a sea sponge and put it in his cage. He loves to play with the sponge and other objects in his cage like a shell or his food. My pet is very playful for a crab and he likes to climb things including me. I got him at a sea shell shop in Delaware. If you didn't know how I know he is a male, the pet owner's manual said that when he's the size of a golf ball, witch he is now, he will grow hair on his arms and legs and he does. Girls don't grow any hair. That is how you know if it's a boy or a girl. Right now he is very healthy and his name is Simon. Devon

The kind of pet I have is a cat that's 2 years old. He was born on July 3rd. I like my cat because he keeps me company and likes to sleep on my bed. One thing about my cat is he can't stop licking himself and now he has a big cut on himself. We have to take him to the vet for a shot so he will stop licking himself. My cat is a twin like me. I never knew , but my cat has an enemy. I found out when I heard hissing outside and I saw my cat (Dozer) fighting another cat. In that fight he lost a claw and got a nasty scratch on his nose.

Hi, my name is Mike. I have six cats. One is Indy, one is Sister, another is Brownie, and I have two calicos called Cally and Lefty. Indy is orange, Sister has black stripes. Brownie has brown stripes. Brownie is the oldest cat. Cally and Lefty are afraid of us. Indy is a nice and good cat. Most of our cats came from people giving them to us. And one of our cats is called Blackavar. She is a mother and she makes babys too.

Another cat is Flash he is black and white. One is bad his name is White Face.

All About Lady

Hi! My name is Jenning, and I am going to tell you all about Lady. Lady is one and a half years old. Lady is more rough and wild than Little Bit (our other dog of twelve years). We got her from my uncles brothers wife (they just got a divorce). She has been with us for almost two months.

During the day Lady is put on a runner so she doesn't run away. She is on the runner for most of the day, until we get home(she has food and water outside with her). If you are just getting to know her than you just have to be gentle and careful.

Lady eats biscuits, of course dog food, and the cat's food. Lady is an german shepherd. Patt gave us so much of Lady's stuff that we had to put it on the crate and in the closet. Lady is crate trained. Lady jumps over couches alot and runs alot. Her original name was Jackie, but because my sisters name is Jacquie, we ahd to change it to Lady Jack.

We tried Hi Jackie, but hat didn't work. Lady has got so much energy than Little Bit that he can't stand when she is right in his face. Little Bit sleeps all the time. I hope they both learn to get along.

Meow likes laying in the sun on the back porch. Meow also likes hunting. Meow is black and white. The reason why I love Meow is because he is the first cat of my very own. I got Meow on Easter in 1991. He came in a big box with a big bow. He was waiting for me in our new house in Pittstown. Thats why Meow isb so special to me.Another animal I like to watch are bears, they aer at my other house in New York State. They are for watching only, not pets, I also like rabbits. I have my very own. My rabbits name isCasper.

My Two Dogs

I have two dogs at my house on Sidney Road. Their names are Dakota and Spooky. I like my pets because they funny, especially Dakota because he looks dumb and cute at the same time. Dakota is a really cute dog that was born on the Fourth of July, and he also is about 2 years old. Spooky is almost 8 years old and he's a very good watchdog.

Dakota has a shiny coat of fur and he is afraid of a squeaky dumbbell, and Spooky has a keen sense of smell and a ruffled coat of fur. I love my pets because they are the only two pets I have, and I want them to live long. I got Spooky because a guy didn't want 10 puppies running around. We got Dakota because our old dog, Pettie, died.

The animals I know are monkeys, gorillas, fish, deer, sharks, birds, dogs, cats, parrots, penguins, horses, elephants, reptiles, armadillos, opossums, giraffe, tigers, chimpanzees, whales, etc.

I have a dog and a cat. Their names are Tammy (the dog) and Peppa (the cat.) Tammy is 10 and a half and Peppa is 12 years old. Tammy and Peppa were found but on different days. I don't know who was found first. Tammy is a brownish color. Peppa has black, brown, and white colors on her. I like Tammy because she is quiet. I like Peppa because she is playful. I know reptiles, birds, and mammals.

I have two cats, Queeny, and Jingle. I also have one dog, Brindle. I like them very much because my cats are cuddly and my dog is fun to play with. Brindle is a Great Dane, Queeny is a Dilute Calico, and Jingle is a American Short hair Tabby. Jingle likes to play with anything small like, a bead, Queeny on the other hand, loves to be outside more then inside. Brindle likes to wag her tail and likes her belly rubbed. I worry about Queeny because she is 16 and she might be to slow and get hit by a car. Jingle, I don't want her to go outside because she hasn't ever been outside before and might get lost in the wild. Then there's Brindle, I worry about her when she bites someone. My dad named Brindle after her color. We got the name Jingle from the little bells in balls that she likes to play with.The name Queeny comes from the way she acts. All of my animals are girls.

I have two cats. They are 10 years old. Their names are Sam and Pete. One is all white and one is black and white. They live in my house. My white cat likes to sleep a lot and the other likes to explore. My cats are pretty big for cats. Sometimes they like to sleep in my bed at night. They eat cat and sometimes sniff human food. I like them because they're fun to be around and I like to play with them. Sam is the black and white one. We usually like to be around him. Sam is a big cat and heavy. Sam likes to eat food. Sam sometimes does bad things. If he wants to go outside he scratches the curtain and makes marks.

Pete is a calm fellow. He's not an explorer much, but once in a while he goes outside and explores around. Usually he sleeps and hides. If you get to wild around him he hisses at you. I usually pet Sam a lot because he's around the house. Pete I don't pet a lot because he's not around.

I have different kinds of pets: two gerbils,and 14 fish. My fish always fight one is fat, and one likes to sleep. My gerbils fight sometimes, sleep, run around, break out of the cage. Most of the fishes like to eat all the time, and the same with the gerbils but they break out of cage. I really don't love my pets, I just like to play with them. Most of the pets I know are ducks, cats, dogs, snakes, hamsters, lizards, insects, and arachnids. Most of them I don't own my friends have them.

Some of my pets' habits are weird. Tip doesn't like to be scratched on her head, and every time you go near Crys she wants you to scratch her belly. I love my pets because they are fun to play with, feed, and brush. I only know where 3 of my pets came from, Sonic, Tiger, and Tip. We got Sonic from our neighbors in Tennessee. We got Tiger from the Humane Society in Tennessee. We got Tip from the same neighbors we got Sonic from. My neighbors have two dogs. That's all my pets.

Well, I'll tell you about a dog I came close to getting. It was a chocolate Lab. The two dogs were named Sassy and Tanzy. They were retiring from dog shows. They were 6 years old. They loved to walk right beside you. If you were leaving, they would hop right in with you. Their habits were that they liked to eat grass. I love my pets because I like to pet them and hug them. I "almost" got my from Mrs. Foxe's daughter finding an article about some retiring dogs.

Included in my family are six pets. They are KiKi the cat, Oboe, my dog, a big green iguana, Piggy and three outdoor fish. KiKi is a Maine coon and she is a very pretty tortoise color. That means she's black and orange with a little cream but no white. At three years old she eats like a bird nibbling all day long. Oboe is my six year old monster dog. He's a huge yellow lab. Sometimes I ride on my dogs back and pretend that Oboe is my horse. My iguana is three years old. My family and I don't know whether it is a female or a male. My mom thinks the iguana looks like a female. Sometimes we call him or her Ziggamondo. When the iguana gets out of its' cage it roams around the house. My favorite animal in the summer are the goldfish. They live outside all year long in a little pond that my parents made. I like to watch the frogs that come around and sit on the leaves under the waterfall. Animals are so much fun to watch and have around that do not even mind the responsibility they need.

I have five cats named Harley, Haley, Isaiah,Hannah and Spanky. They all live in our house. We found Harley, Haley and Hannah on the side of the road. I wanted to keep them and my parents said I could keep them. Later that year we found out that Spanky was living under our deck. Before we got the four other cats I got my cat Isaiah. He was for sale for $4.000 dollars. Every night he comes in my room and jumps onto my bed and sleeps with me. When I'm at a friends house he goes around the house looking for me.

I don't have a pet anymore but I used to have dwarf frogs. Everyday I had to change their water and feed them. My frogs lived a month long when the average life span is about 2 weeks. I think that having a pet is fun but it also is a big responsibility. Pets can be annoying because they have to have exactly what they want.

Pet are the best thing to have if you like to be with something that can not talk. I know that because I have two turtles. Their names are Snap and Pop. Snap was named that because he always snaps at us. And Pop because we like that. They are both smalland and a blackish green color. We take care of them by keeping them close to the window sell so they can ether stay cool or hot. We feed them 3-4 times a day . We sometimes take them out to play with them. A tip if you are getting a pet turtle soon never let them free with out watching them.

I have had many pets before. First we had a hamster who died a long time ago. We had to give him away just before he died because he made so much noise that I couldn't go to sleep. Then I had a rabbit named buster who died. He was the best pet we had. Then we had four lizards, but they died. As you can see, I have had a good amount of pets.

I have 2 pets both of them are guinea pigs. The mother is named Rebecca. I do not know how old she is. The daughter who is about 1 and a half years old and is named Jessica. Their favorite food is lettuce and carrots. They also drink water. Guinea pigs are not like pigs at all. They are actually cute little fury creatures that look like hamsters, but are much bigger.

I have a couple of pets. They are: two birds that are parakeets and they are named Polly and Crackers. I also have about eight (8) tropical fish. I care for them by making sure that their cage (or water) is clean, and that they are fed. I really, really, really love my pets, even though at times they are extremely annoying. One of the things that I love about my birds is that when ever a ommercial on TV with music goes on, they try to sing a-long, but they don't do a very good job!

I used to have a pet iguana named Clifford. I tried to make his life great. I gave him trees and even a hammock. He got many different types of food and a large supply of water. I bought him in November. But in March he started misbehaving. As my mom put him in the temporary cage to clean the real one, he squirmed out of her hands. He hid behind my dresser and when my mom finally found him and put him back in the cage, she found out he had defecated all over the wall. When April came, mom had to give him away at the school auction because mom was having a baby and did not want to expose the baby to a lizard disease called Salmonella.

I have a cat. Her name is Alyssa Clarissa. She is a ginger cat with a white tail. Alyssa C.(Her nickname) often starts playing with my little sisters stuffed animals, and preens them like a mother cat should. Some times, she balances her empty water dish on her cute pink nose. She can do imitations of my substitute teacher, Ms. Inger, Puss and Boots, my best friend Libby, and of course, me!! She always cheers me up, and that is why I love my Alyssa C.!

I Have two dogs, one's name is Wallace and the other is Hercules, He's a bulldog, that's why he's real big! When I play Frisbee I plat with Hercules, but when I come home and play Hockey and watch TV., Wallace comes and puts his head on me. When I'm sick or hurt, they both comfort me.

If I had a pet I would name him Sting because he would be fast and strong. I would take care of him by feeding him pedigree I would also let him sleep in my room. I think it would be nice to have a pet dog. I would teach him how to fetch sticks, balls, and other things related to stuff like that. I used to have a hamster named Sonic but he died when he was 2 in human years. I was very sad when he died and at first I thought he was asleep. Then my dad said Sonic died and I cried for the whole night. One day my hamster escaped and my mom said she regretted getting it for me. I looked all over for Sonic frantically but he was nowhere. Then my mom found him in the closet and she screamed because she was surprised. After that incident we put a rock on top of his cage so he couldn't get out.

My cat used to climb on the ceiling of my apartment and fall down immediately and would not get hurt. And when a friend of mine brought his cat my cat was scared of her. My dog is crazy. I trys to jump out of the window and let me tell you a story, one day I was walking my dog and then he got into a fight with a dog and my dog was biting his ears, then the other dog bit his ears and my dog won the fight.

Hi my name is Lily. I have two pets. I have a goldfish and a guinea pig. My guinea pig's name is Gretchen and my fishy is named Savey. Savey lives in a glass bowl in my living-room. 2 years ago I had a dog named Betty. She was a beagle. Betty was brown, black and white. When she died, she was almost 10 [ 70 in dog years].Betty was 2 years older than me. 2 years before she died she went blind. My sisters and I used to feed her. My mother used to clean up after her. Betty was my first friend. I miss her a lot.

I love my pet Golden Retriever, Cal. There were many funny moments I've shared with Cal. Once, when I was 6 I woke up in the middle of the night to get a snack. Obviously Cal couldn't sleep either so he just waited in the kitchen for one of my parents to come in the kitchen for breakfast. When I got into the kitchen he didn't notice me so he barked at the top of his lungs. When my parents heard the barking they started looking for what caused the racket (they didn't think it was Cal because they thought he was sleeping.) After 30 minutes of searching we finally found Cal behind the sofa. I really like Cal and hope he lives forever.

Hello! My name is Stas. I'd like to tell about my cat. I had a cat. Her name was Murka. Last spring she dissapeared. I found her everywhere, but I couldn't find. Once I played near the house and heard, that somebody squaked over my head. I climbed in the garret and there was my cat, Murka, with kittens. There were three of them. They were very cute. I played with them, fed and put them into the my bed. When my kittens grew up we gave out them. But one was left. He is grey with white paws. I love him.
