We asked students to express personal opinions as well as stretch their thinking and imagination to write a short piece about one of the following topics.

 

 

Caring For Our World............

 

1. Describe an object that many people throw away. Explain how it can be turned into something useful.

2. Pretend that you could interview an animal or plant. What do you think it would have to say about how people treat the environment.

3. Think about someone or something that you feel makes the world more beautiful. Describe that person or thing. Explain how you think that person or thing makes the world feel more beautiful.

4. Pollution affects nature. Think of a special place (park, forest, beach). How could it be affected by pollution? What could be done to protect this place?
