Interview with a Raindrop on All Plants Considered
Welcome to all plants considered, we are interviewing a raindrop. What does it feel like to be a raindrop?
It feels pretty cool at first but then you get used to it. Do you like traveling around the world?
Yes because you can see different places. Have you ever been in a rainbow?
No I have not but it is my dream.
How does it feel if you get polluted?
I never was polluted yet and I hope I never am. Our last question before we run out of time is how long do you stay in a cloud?
It depends you could stay in the air for a couple years or 10 seconds. Thank you for having me on All Plants Considered.
We think the sun makes the world beautiful because in spring, flowers begin to bloom. Without the sun we wouldn't survive very long or, be able to play outside because it would be to cold. We think the sun is great, because in the spring we get extra recess. And we also get to go water skiing and much more. We like snow days because we don't have to worry about going to school, and we like summer vacation because we get 3 months off of school. The sun is our source of light. Without it we would be lost. The sun helps grass grow, and you can make money mowing the grass. That's why the sun makes the world BEAUTIFUL!
For the past two weeks two Canadian geese have been coming to our playground outside our window. At first it was cool because we would watch them instead of Mr. Grott, they waddled when they walked, the way they honked, the way they picked the ground for food, and because of the way they slept with their head under their wing. One kid in our class walked for about one hundred feet, which is not even a quarter of our playground, and he found fifty-eight piles of their droppings. If this continues we will have no more playground to play on without stepping on their droppings. We do not know how to prevent the geese from coming here. Do you have any ideas?
Billions of sheets of paper are thrown away in schools, businesses households. We think people should start recycling paper instead of just throwing it out. Somethings you can do with paper is to shred news paper and make garden mulch. That would work because it absorbs water, than it releases it slowly and waters your garden. When the paper dries up it turns into dirt. This will also reduce the price on your water bill. You can mold the paper into bricks and soak it so it stays together than let it dry so you can use it for insulation on your house so that way your house won't be so expensive. This will make it so more homeless people can afford house. Then you just have to make it water proof.
