26. During an earthquake, pressure that has built up between two pieces of Earth’s crust is released, and the pieces move. Pressure that has built up inside Earth is also released when a volcano erupts.

27. A seismograph measures movement of earth. Before volcanoes erupt, they sometimes move. these movements can be recorded on a seismograph.
