Winter winter hear the wind blow.
This is the time when the sky gives us snow.

Winter winter the days can be bleak.
It now is the time to play hide and seek.

Winter winter on sleds we shall play.
I bet you can’t wait until Christmas day.

BOB’S CHRISTMAS

On December 13, 2002, bob wrote a letter to Santa Claus. He wrote, Dear Santa, don’t give me any of your junky toys. I want a million dollars so I can buy my own stuff. Bob put a stamp on the letter and put it in the mail. Eleven days later on Christmas Eve, Bob kissed his mom good night and fell asleep.

A few minutes later – Wow! It’s Christmas ! Yahhooooooooo!

Bob went to his mom and dad’s room and jumped on their bed. Then Bob ran downstairs and he opened his present. It was coal. There was a letter.

Dear Bob, you get coal because you were bad. Bob got so mad he smashed the coal and there was diamonds in the coal.

Bob sold the diamonds and bought toys.

Last Year’s Christmas

Last year my brother, Eric, and I went outside to play in the snow. First, we went sledding and then we went on the basketball court to have a snowball fight. First, we each made a wall for protection, and then we started. Eric started throwing snowballs right away but I wasn’t as fast. When we were done I was covered with snow and ice.

Bo Jingles and Spudnick

Once there was a little elf his name was Bo Jingles. He like most elves work for Santa Claus. One day in December in the North Pole Bo Jingles and his sidekick Spudnick went to go bring all the wrapped presents to Santa's sleigh. As they got out of the workshop it turn out that there was a terrible blizzard outside so they thought tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we must get all the rest of the presents to Santa's sleigh or Christmas will have to be canceled.

So they thought and thought and thought and finally Bo Jingles had an idea. He said, "Well since the snow is to tall to get over it we can just digging tunnels to Santa's house."

"That's a wonderful idea lets start digging." said Spudnick. So the two elves started to dig until they reach Santa's house.

Santa said, " I hope that Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen and dasher and dancer and Prancer and Vixen and Rudolph can handle this."

"I'm sure they can." said Bo Jingles

" I hope they can, or we'll have to cancel Christmas." said Santa

When Bo Jingles and his trusty sidekick Spudnick went outside to get the other presents they saw that it had snowed twice as hard as before. Bo Jingles and Spudnick started to worry a little bit, so instead of going to the workshop they made another tunnel to the reindeer barn to see if the reindeer were okay for tomorrow night. When they got there they saw that Blitzen was very ill. They took them outside to see if they were still able to fly in this weather all of them could except for Blitzen who had not been able to fly because he was sick.

They didn't know what to do so they thought and thought and thought until Spudnick thought of an idea he said to put a jet pack on his back so he could fly. So when Christmas Eve came around Blitzen was flying with the jetpack.

December Stories

Here is my story about December. December is very special to me for two reasons, because I love Christmas and I love my birthday. I'm so lucky! My birthday is two days after Christmas! I get a lot of presents.

Christmas is my favorite holiday. My mom told me that the day I was born, she held me in her arms and promised me that my birthday presents and Christmas presents would be very different. To this day, she has kept her promise. She makes Christmas just as special as my birthday, even though they are only two days apart.

I can remember my mom and dad telling me about one December whereit snowed up to 3 to 4 feet! I saw a picture of me being held by my dad in the 3 to 4 feet of snow. I don't remember anything about this storm because I was too little. I will always love December.

December is a month of caring, sharing, and being kind to one another. In December it snows. Christmas is in December. Most everyone loves December because of everything that happens in the month. December is also a on and of weather month. That means it can rain, snow, hail, and be sunny. So what I am trying to say is that December is a great month.

My First Ski Trip

My first ski trip was in 1999. We went to Blue Mountain. It took a long time to get skis because there was a long line. My sister and I went for ski lessons and my brother and cousin went for snow boarding lessons. Then we had to wait for a ski instructor. Finally someone came in and called our group. He said his name was Jack and Jack was really nice.

After the lesson was over my brother and cousin came back from their snowboarding lessons. We all went to the mountains.

I went down an expert mountain by accident and I fell. Then there was a mountain called Paradise Mountain. I went down it a lot. While I was going up on a chairlift, I saw someone with skis on and he went down a half-pipe and he broke his leg, arm and his neck. Then a helicopter came and picked him up.

My cousin almost fell off a mountain but a person came and helped my cousin and he was okay. Then we went up one more time and me, my brother, cousin and sister had a race. I came in first, my sister came in second, my cousin came in third and my brother came in fourth.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Just as a snow flake that falls on your sleeve, theirs a town called Whoville. Theirs a Grinch who lives on a mountain above Whoville who is as mean as can be. His heart is 3 sizes small . The Grinch lives on Mt. Who. The Grinch hates Christmas, but no Who knows why.

So one day the Grinch said "Christmas is here, it is the worst time of the year. "

" I hate it so much I will steal it!!

So all the Whos will cry and pout. "And when they wake up they wont get any presents." Said the Grinch.

So one Christmas night the Grinch took some thread and fabric and he snipped away. He made a Santa suit and a hat. He said something was missing, what could it be? So he took his dog Max and made him into a reindeer.

So he took the presents. He saw a little girl come down the stairs, it was little old Cindy Lue. She was thirsty. She said, "Santa what are you doing with our tree?" So the Grinch thought quick. "It is missing a light so I’m going to fix it." She went back to bed. So the Grinch took the Who pudding and the Who Roast.

The Grinch went home and he realized that what he did was wrong. When it was morning all the Whos were singing. So the Grinch took the presents back and the Whos forgave him and they let him celebrate Christmas.

The Shortest Day

The shortest day occurs on December 21st, which is winter solstice. In the Northwest territories, the December days are extremely short. Daytime feels more like night. In the summer the Territories have sunlight most of the day and night. Some people even have to put blankets over their windows to sleep. Here in New Jersey, we get a good amount of sunlight and darkness in December.
