SEPAG
Franklin Township SEPAG
The Franklin Township Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) is a parent-led organization that works in partnership with the school district to share ideas, provide feedback, and support families. SEPAG is made up of parents and caregivers who understand the unique challenges and joys of raising a child with disabilities or special learning needs.
Our group serves as a bridge between families and the district, offering guidance on topics related to special education programs and services. By working together, we help ensure that every child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a supportive school environment.
Our Mission
The mission of the Franklin Township SEPAG is to:
- Support parents and caregivers of children with disabilities and those in need of special services, by sharing resources, experiences, and encouragement.
- Foster open and ongoing communication between families and the school district, so parents have a voice in shaping programs and services.
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to provide feedback and input on how to best support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Promote inclusive practices that create welcoming classrooms where students can succeed not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.
✅ SEPAG is here to make sure that parents and caregivers feel connected, supported, and empowered as part of the school community.
