Parent Involvement
Families are essential partners in our Pre-K program. We believe that when schools and families work together, children feel supported, confident, and ready to learn. Our goal is to create meaningful, accessible opportunities for families to engage in their child’s early learning experience.
How Families Can Get Involved
- Join our ECAC team
- Attend family workshops and learning events
- Participate in classroom celebrations and activities
- Chaperone educational field trips
- Support learning routines at home
- Share feedback and ideas to strengthen our program
Family Workshops
Throughout the year, we offer workshops designed to support families and strengthen the home–school connection. Workshops may be offered in person or virtually and may include after-school or evening options.
Sample Workshop Topics:• Taste the Rainbow: Exploring nutrition through hands-on food experiences
• Learning Through Play: Understanding how play supports early learning
• Kindergarten Readiness: Helping your child prepare for the transition
• Supporting Big Feelings: Social-emotional strategies for home and school
